It is commonly known as a nasal booger or nasal mucus. Boogers are a natural secretion of the mucous membranes that line the nose and protect it from foreign particles, allergens, and bacteria.
These boogers are usually composed of a combination of water, saline solution, proteins, antibodies, microorganisms, dead skin cells, and other debris that get trapped in the nasal passages.
